I bet the refinerys in Texas are huuge! That one in Ashland is really large too, it seems to be acres!Lynettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03021074096150689759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19263674.post-1164917902303649882006-11-30T12:18:00.000-08:002006-11-30T12:18:00.000-08:00Can't wait to see this one completed! The first time I drove through a Texas night and saw the refineries all lit up -- wow, I had to pull over every few miles!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12457488269196625188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19263674.post-1164642763202871342006-11-27T07:52:00.000-08:002006-11-27T07:52:00.000-08:00Hi Nancy and thank you so much for your wonderful ...Hi Nancy and thank you so much for your wonderful comment! It decided me to GO for it! I have all of the background done and I just need to add the tall smokestacks but they won't really look like industrial ones when I get done with them but more surreal looking. Now I am off to visit your blog, I've gotten behind in my blog visiting this week, just not enough free time. :(Lynettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03021074096150689759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19263674.post-1164641691864387682006-11-27T07:34:00.000-08:002006-11-27T07:34:00.000-08:00This really commands your attention. I just realized my mistake when seeing your blogger name in the new font in your new blog (it looks great and I loved your flickr photos!)I think my eyes were playing tricks on me to see your name spelled different than it was and I will go fix the misspelling in your link on my blog too! :O I had a nice day yesterday and didn't eat too much turky and fixings like I usually do but it was still very good!Lynettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03021074096150689759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19263674.post-1164347433705733052006-11-23T21:50:00.000-08:002006-11-23T21:50:00.000-08:00Hi Lynette, just wish you have a nice and happy Th...Hi Lynette, just wish you have a nice and happy Thanksgiving, my friend. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19263674.post-1164263378185688522006-11-22T22:29:00.000-08:002006-11-22T22:29:00.000-08:00Thanks Jan and I haven't painted it in yet. I'm still thinking on this one and haven't touched the original painting yet. Hi Cyn and thanks for the congrats, that was great to sell one and I actually sold that painting from my blog and he had originally seen it on artbyus! You're right, night time is magical! J.B., thanks so much and I hope everyone has a Very Happy Thanksgiving!!!Lynettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03021074096150689759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19263674.post-1164209203114497632006-11-22T07:26:00.001-08:002006-11-22T07:26:00.001-08:00I agree with jan. Even the most hideous places have mystery and magic at nighttime. This is really a great little painting...and congrats on your sale of your tree painting!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19263674.post-1164203186958208622006-11-22T05:46:00.000-08:002006-11-22T05:46:00.000-08:00I would like to see you turn this 90 degrees and d...I would like to see you turn this 90 degrees and do it in landscape format as opposed to portrait. Ugly as some plants can be, at night, they can be quite intriguing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
