Stop the Clock ~ (or at least turn it back one hour) Acrylics on stretched canvas 11 X 14 inches. Well I just finished this abstract one last night and don't know what the heck it's about but I must have been subconciously thinking about turning the clock back one hour last night for Daylight Savings Time. Ugh that must be why I feel so tired today, it always messes with my internal clock when we have to do that but I'm glad we gained an hour instead of losing one. Well I finally got up my nerve and listed a my little redsky ACEO on E-bay last night. It feels like putting a tiny fish into a gargantuan ocean of listings though, eek! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200041854616 I have no feedback in there so I'll be surprised to get many views or any bids but you have to start somewhere with the big E I guess.

This is very well executed. It has alot of depth. The swirly parts feel like they are on a convex background, while the splashes are on a clear flat layer on top. Find myself trying to figure out your thought process in it all.

Hi and thanks Jan! To be honest this is one that I have just worked on a little at a time over the past few months. Some nights I would just add a few details and it just sort of 'built up'as I found time to work on it. Most of the time I was stumped and not sure what to do with it.

I like the built up effect and the colours are nice.

Nice Painting Lyn! I'm always happy to see new work from you. You do build up your paintings nicely.

Good luck with eBay!

Thanks J.B. and Cyn! So far I've gotten decent views but no bids. My big zero feedback probably doesn't look to good but I'm not giving up!

I have a funny story about ebay. I was cruising the net and I saw my name come up on an ebay listing titled original artwork by Corrine B. I am thinking what the heck is that?
I just about died laughing because posted up for sale was a horrid horrid painting I had done a year after I started painting (10 years ago). I sold it at a garage sale five years ago. no bids though :( one teeny bid would be nice eh lyn, will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Corrine (J.B.) that is so wild. I bet it felt weird to see your painting that you did so long ago on e-bay, that's awesome! I got some views but no bids. I just listed another aceo so I'll see what happens with them.
