The Secret Tree of Mirth ~ I don't even know what that title means but it came to me as I was finishing painting this one last night. It's an ACEO and it's acrylics on 140 lb. watercolor paper. I'll be putting it up for auction soon on either artbyus or ebay. Did you ever have a strange title pop into your head while you are painting something and you weren't sure why or how it came into your mind, but you knew it was perfect for what you were working on? This one is currently listed on e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=010&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=200067157337&rd=1&rd=1

Thanks so much JB, I appreciate your very nice comment and it makes me want to paint another one tonight, since I don't have to work tomorrow! :)

I know just what you mean. Titles don't come easily to me, so when they do, I run with it.

This is fantastic Lyn!

I think this would work as a larger painting also. Very good title.

Thanks Cyn, you know what aggravates me is when I think of a good title and then forget to write it down (like I did last night). Then when I'm done I've forgot what it was!
Thanks Janet, I've been thinking of doing some of the trees larger but I have to go to Michaels and get another watercolor paper tablet. I was thinking of trying the 300 lb. paper this time.

300 lb paper is great for ACEOs or bigger work. I hope you do this one bigger - just great and the title is a perfect fit!

Hi art lady and thanks so much. I am definitely going to try the 300 lb. paper when I go to Micheals this week and use my Christmas present, which was a gift certificate to Micheals! I think I'll try some of these in larger sizes too.

art lady, I can't get into your blog :( because when I click on your name it says I can't go to your profile because it's not public. Can you give me a link to your blog so I can visit again? Thanks! :D
