'Under the See' ~ I just finished this painting and it's acrylics on a 8 x 10 inch stretched canvas.

'Birth of a Sunrise' ~ Another painting in acrylics on a smaller 6 x 6 inch stretched canvas. I posted this in the WetCanvas challenge for February that JiMi had a wonderful theme for this month. Congratulations to both Jerald and his wife on the birth of their new baby boy!

Full Moon at Sunset ~ The moon has been so bright and full this week and the yard at night is just lit up by the glow...I grabbed my camera to try and capture this beauty right as the sun was setting.

Heey Corinne, wow thanks so much for the nice words. I'm fine, just seem to have 'fullmoonitis' this week hehe!

Thanks Janet, I really got into painting that one...I just knew it was going to be an underwater theme although I didn't plan on that when I started it.

I was just going to remark that the first painting looked like it was under water, until I saw the title... ;)

The moon has been incredibly beautiful lately, hasn't it?

Your undersea world is absolutely mystical! Then again, so are your tree worlds, and that sunrise being born.

Congratulations on your award, Lynette. Although I'm not familiar with that blogger, I know she has good taste.

Gosh, Lynette -- so many beautiful photos and paintings since I was last here! You must be in some crazy, creative state of pre-Spring frenzy! All the paintings are so colorful and gorgeous -- I'm inspired!

Congrats on the well-deserved award, and thanks for checking in on me over at Art166!

Hope you're doing something incredible with your weekend!

Hi,

The transparency of your painting is well achieved.
I quite like its glowing aspect.

Hi there San and thanks so much! Yes, Terri is a wonderful artist and has some new blogs/website too.

Ha, thank you Wendy! Lately it's been more like the late winter blahs for me but I was in the creative zone with my muse when I painted that one.

Hi Sadia and thank you so much for the kind words and for visiting my blog. I will go and visit yours too.
