New Small Lynxie Tree Paintings in acrylics, charcoal pencil and crystal glitter. Yep, I am still painting these small trees! Maybe I'll switch to another subject someday, who knows.

Scorching Hot Summer ~ This hot summer with lack of enough rain has really affected the water levels at Lake Chesdin nearby. Rob and I went there the other evening and it was really surreal to see what looked like acres of bright green growth where there was supposed to be water in the lake! We stayed until almost dark, trying to capture some pretty sunset photos.

All three compositions are brilliant. They are so fascinating. Really fabulous.

Wow, your water levels are REALLY low! I didn't realize you'd had so little rain. I think we are down 3 inches for the year and our rivers/creeks/lakes don't look so bad.
As always, your trees are delightful.

Hi AK, thank you so much and I think your art is incredible, so I feel very honored at your wonderful words. Thank you!
Hi Katie, it's been such a long scorching hot summer without enough rain. Rob said he heard earlier this year that the lake was dropping by 2 inches a day. Surely we will get some rain to fill it back up again, maybe in the fall. Thanks so much!

Wonderful trees, as always.

On the 4th of July, our lake was 6 ft. above normal. It's now 4 ft. below normal. Crazy heat and no rain except for a few drops.

You have magic hands to combine right color and express
through tree story some spiral of the life, your feelings and Universe on your own way. Hope you believe, your trees are special and unique...and they are.
