NATURHYTHYMS ~ This is the one I finished last weekend and it's acutally the same painting in my second to last post, even though it doesn't look anything like it! It's acrylics and 9 x 12 inches on Canson canva-paper. I'm trying to paint some larger ones in the same style as the ACEO's I've been doing and I was happy with the way this one turned out!

I want to thank everyone for the heartfelt words about my Mom, they are such a real comfort to me. It is even a little easier today than yesterday and I know that time is the healer. Yesterday I went through her things that my 2 sisters and I divided up, all the time remembering the things she used to do and say. I polished her wood potato bin (with apples painted on the side) and washed the pretty glasses and old coffee cup that my dad drank so many cups of coffee from that the design is fading off. I am glad that she is free now and in a much better place. Another thing that I'm grateful for... my two sisters and I bonded again in a close and loving way while going through the things that she left behind. We all three live in different states so it's hard to keep in touch sometimes.

Glad you're back home safely Lynnie!
I adore this painting, and I see it as you and your two sisters, holding hands, dancing as little girls would do,,,sharing love, celebrating life.

This is a lovely painting.

Good that you are reconnecting with your sisters.

Sometimes there are hidden blessings in a loss such as yours, and it sounds like you found it.

I don't know about you, but I have found it quite difficult to translate some images into a larger or smaller format. Is it the same for you?

I do like this painting :)

Thanks so much everyone I really appreciate your comments! I am going to catch up with my blogging this weekend, Thank god tomorrow is TGIF! J.B., I worried about trying to paint in the same way as my smaller ones and it did take longer to do. Yes it is difficult to do, I agree. Took a lot longer to put all those dots in one that's a lot larger than 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches LOL!

I think it is great that you paint to express your emotions or just whatever's inside you. I have two older sisters and it's such a special thing when you can connect. Hope you can again.

Thanks so much M.O.I. It was wonderful to connect with both my sisters and this spring I'm planning a visit to my sister who lives in Florida. I haven't seen her often enough since we moved away from home.
