YELLOW ROSE ~ I just did this one last night and it's an abstract done in acrylics on a 6 x 6 inch stretched canvas. Cyn, I know you're on vacation but I'm going through those canvases I bought from you and I really love this size! I painted this one really fast and I'm thinking of doing another tonight.

I love that size canvas also. They really do paint up fast.
Nice rose.
Fantastic colors! You sure nknow how to pump up colors!
This is wonderful, and so YOU Lynnie!
I am working on large canvases now and really enjoying it. I keep buying bigger sizes and testing them to see if they will still fit in the studio. The biggest size I have now is 80x100 cm (31x39 in) but I haven't started painting them yet :-)
I'm back - maybe It was the ringing in my ears!!
This is looking good - and I love small square art.
Your paintings have such a mystical quality. I agree about small square canvas', they are wonderful to work with.
What an outstanding piece! I just love it!It's as if it is from a dream. Wonderful work! *HUGS*
In some ways it looks like a firefly caught in a glass jar.
Hope all is well.
Thanks Janet, yep and I have some more I'm itching to get to! I'm thinking of buying some larger canvases next time and my supply is getting low.
Hi Terri, wow thanks so much!
Aww Flo, same to you lady! Thanks so much and I hope you're enjoying those large canvases, woo those are a good size!
Hehe Cyn yep I'm going through those small canvases. I hope you had a good trip, I'm woefully behind on my blog visiting, going to fix that tonight!
Thanks J.B. yep I love that size to work on!
Angela, hugs back to you and thank so much!
Hehe Janet, I never thought of that and that is a really neat idea for a painting except you could do lots of little glowing things in there!
Do we need to send you a tube of paint?
:D :D A set of oil paints would be wonderful Janet, hehe! I have been working extra hours and STILL haven't got new camera batteries so darnit I need to get busy so I do some more painting and posting in my blog. I painted 2 little ones but my muse has been taking a break and I haven't done much painting since my Mom passed. I'm serious about buying some oils, though, I'm dying to try them. I am going to have the upstairs of the garage finished with new stairs and convert it into a studio so I have biig plans, just hope they all work out.
LOL. I guess I am just waiting to see what you come up with next.
We are fixing our garage attic too. Right now, we just want to make it functional. Stairs would be nice, but I will have to settle for the ones way down the other side of the house for now.
Ha, I don't even know what I'm going to come up with next myself but I have a few ideas floating around in my mind. I just need to get out my paints this weekend! :D
When we moved in here 14 years ago I always wanted to finish the upstairs of the garage and my husband's been storing car parts up there all these years. The stairs are like a temporary ladder thing and very tricky climbing up, extremely steep. Plus, the edges of the floor up there drop off to the bottom floor so it's not a place for someone scared of heights LOL! I think it's going to be awesome finished up as a studio, I can't wait!!!
