Capturing a Moon Moment ~ right when the full moon was laying on top of the garage last week. I hope we'll be done with all this work on the house (and garage) one of these days. arrgh...it seems never ending! It was 96 degrees today and I thought I was going to have a heat stroke after cutting weeds and mowing the grass under the apple tree! :o Hurry up fall, I'm ready for ya! :)

Such a great photo.

I hope you drank lots of water. We did some yardwork the other weekend in hot temps and it didnt take long to overdo it.

My gosh that's a gorgeous photo Lynn!
Here's to your 'brand new' house,,,it will feel that way, though I'm sure you wonder if you'll live to see it, lol!
Be careful out there,,,we need you to paint us some more trees!
:-)

Janet, I got so hot that day, and I could tell I needed to get inside and cool off. Yep, I've been drinking lots and lots of water. That yardwork can get to you quick when it feels like 100 out there!
Thanks so much Babs, and it's a good thing the ugly siding doesn't show in that pic hehe. We're going to get the garage done too soon as the house gets done. Our garage is bigger than the house so it'll probably be a pain too!

I, too, am ready for fall to come our way, Lynette! The humidity is the real issue for me! I can hardly breathe!

I love this photo....is is truly beautiful!

Thanks Lynette!

Thanks Kim! I know what you mean, when the air quality is bad (code orange), along with the heat and humidity, I have a hard time with breathing good too. It's going to be awful hot the next week too. :(

The moon balancing atop your garage makes it seem so much more than a garage. Our summer hasn't been quite as hot as yours, but I'm with you--the heat just drains me. The other day I had to run around to a bunch of stores in preparation for a weekend event, and being in and out of the car all day, in a rush, in the heat, just emptied me.
