Beauty after 4 o'clock and a new ACEO ~ My dear friend Babs of Off the Wall Art (thanks Babs!) sent me some flower seeds last year and - oh boy did they turn into some gorgeous flowers this summer! They are called 4 o'clock flowers and they bloom late in the evening...night owl flowers which suit me just fine. The fragrance is heavenly and they are such a hot pink lovely color!

These dreamlike landscape images are quite breathtaking Lynette! Didn't notice the river valley scene until you posted it on Wet Canvas. They really work well. :)
The 4 o'clocks are gorgeous! Almost like petunias in shape...
Your new paintings are great - I love the hazy effect!
WOW Lynn, your 4 o'clocks really took OFF!
Never thought about the night owl aspect of them, but they do suit us well, don't they!
You really, really are doing a super job with your bridge paintings,,,this one is awesome too,,,love the misty atmosphere!
Aren't vacations wonderful for rejuicing the creative pump? This bridge picture is lovely, as if I'm seeing the bridge through a morning fog. I've grown 4 o'clocks before and they are such pretty flowers.
This is wonderful Lynette. Such atmosphere!
Lynette, that's amazing work to pull off on such a "petite" scale. So beautiful, and, to quote Eraethil, very "dreamlike."
And those 4 o'clocks are dazzling.
Hey Rick, thanks so much, I've really been inspired by the scenery from our trip!
Thanks so much Cyn, Babs sent me those seeds and they're such gorgeous colored flowers!
Babs, ooh I love the 4o'clocks, thanks for sending me the seeds and thanks for the nice words on my aceo too!
Hi Katie, I need a vacation more often, it did inspire me creatively, thanks so much for the nice words!
Janet, thanks so much, I scrubbed and layered that little painting trying to get the feeling of distance.
Hey San, thanks so very much for the nice words!
I personally like the look of it being hazy. Wonderful work Lynette!
Hello, Good to hear from you...thanks for the props...I really dig the bridge. You should paint that a few times. Stay well
Hi Angela, thanks so much for the nice words!
Wowee thank you William, I'm a huge fan of your breathtaking landscapes and I feel so honored that you commented! I am working on 2 small paintings of the bridges we saw in West Virginia. There is beautiful scenery down in that area, thanks again!!
