'What Fun to Be a Fish'
7 1/2 x 11 inches. I just finished this painting today and it's acrylics and glazing medium on 140 lb. watercolor paper. The second pic is a detail showing the texture. This original painting is currently for sale at Artbyus.com: http://www.artbyus.com/auctions.php?a=2&b=64423

Oh this is so rich, the colours, the texture. Really beautiful and so nice to visually play with and explore.

Thanks so much Alfreda! I just let my imagination take a swim with the fish in this one and had fun doing it. :)

Once again, lovely art! Also, I didn't know you were a member of wetcanvas (I'm catching up on your blog)! I am too, under the name wccecilia. I pretty much hang out only in the wearable art forum. Although I occasionally visit the new user and watercolor forums, I hardly ever post there.

Thinking of wetcanvas, my dad posted there once, I think (I made him), to get some feedback on his eggs. You can see them here, if you're interested. http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271752. Of course the thread is ancient by now so you don't need to reply or anything.

I hope you've been well lately and I just wanted to add my admiration to all the work you've posted recently!

Hi and thank you ShyViolet, Oh my gosh the eggs your Dad made are so unbelievable, such fine intricate work and they are so very, very gorgeous! Good thing you got him to share his creations in WC. Does he still do them? I didn't know if you were in WC, that is such a huge site. I am off to visit your blog now. :)
