Tiger Lilly monster ~ My tiger lilly bloom finally opened today! Up close, in this blurry photo I got before my camera batteries went dead, it almost looks like something from 'The Little Shop of Horrors'! I rubbed my hand on the funny brown things and this dark brown powder got all over my fingers and it turned my fingers orange where I touched it. I had a hard time getting the orangey stuff off my hand even with soap and water!

Wow...something from the "little shop of horrors"! I love it...I wish I could see it in person. I would love to paint it. The orange is spectacular. How large are the flowers?
eeeeeeek OMG those triffids are scary looking!!!! That sounds like an awesome movie I would love to see it! It's hard to imagine almost everyone in the whole world going blind, that is too creepy!
Cyn thanks and today I am going to try and get some sharper photos of it to post in the IRL in WC so they will be available for painting references. I just went out with my yardstick and the blooms are 4" across. Thanks e1!

Ha Terri I was wondering about that too. My fingers looked like I had been eating cheetos after getting that power on them!
