Bright Window with Red Drapes ~ I just finished this painting and it's acrylics on cardstock yupo paper. I was doing an abstract (non representational painting) and this window and red drapery appeared so I went with it! It's 8 1/2 x 11 inches.

Well I am now using the NEW blogger! It was much easier to do than I thought it would be. I just clicked on the upgrade button, logged in my google account and then waited...and waited...and waited. I got an E-mail telling me that I had succesfully upgraded. yea, I'm glad that is over, I have been putting it on my 'to do' list for a couple of weeks now.

Interesting translucency to the drapes -- is that from the yupo maybe? I didnt know that yupo came in card stock.
Helloo Flo, thanks so very much! I probably need to do some more work on this one but I had been so busy the last couple weeks I felt like I was going to go nuts if I didn't painting something! This was a quick one. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
Hi Jan and thank you! That was the last page from my yupo sample pack and it was one of the thickest sheets. I painted over the paper weight number on it but it felt like cardstock.
You were brave to switch to new blogger! I keep hesitating since I'm not sure I'll gain a lot from it. I don't even know what a Google Account is and how you get one! I better stick with what I sorta know!!!
Hi moi, I was hesitant to switch over too. There really wasn't much to it. I just clicked on the link to upgrade and waited for a while till an e-mail came telling me the upgrade was sucessful. I didn't change anything from my old blog and really haven't noticed anything different since I did change over.
