Combine a Christmas Tree with a Full Moon and make a little digital magic! This is a digital painting and HOHOHO it's time to get in the Holiday Spirit!
YOu would enjoy some fun glasses I found at a gift shop the other day. I thought they were 3D glasses (they had flat paper frames), but the "lenses" distorted the lights when you looked through them. They had a couple different styles, but with one you could see a snowman when you looked at a light.
I have been out of the loop lately, so maybe these are common. But hey, I thought they were fun.
Thanks JB tis the season woohoo! Janet I've never heard of those glasses but would sure love to see through some, they sound really fun! LOL Cyn me too. My two sisters and I had the hardest time sleeping Christmas Eve night and we tore into the living room and into the presents as soon as it got light the next morning! Thanks WJ if I had a decent printer this year that would be awesome. Maybe I can do it next year though!
That's a good idea Janet! I was also thinking of making some prints to sell too but wasn't sure if the inks they use is archival and if it's OK to sell them??
I would check where you have them printed. Probably not at the WalMart photo dept, but at a local camera shop that does printing too. Ask them what kind of printer and inks they use and then double check for specs online if they dont have any paperwork with specs.
Thanks Janet, that's a great idea and I also have a friend in WC who has an etsy shop and I ordered a couple of prints from and they turned out beautifully! I hadn't thought about making prints lately but that's what I need to try next.
Hello and thanks for visiting! I've been painting and drawing for many years. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and I've always enjoyed creating art! I'm fascinated with trees, growing up in Kentucky and living in Virginia for over 20 years! I love the outdoors and enjoy painting it!

I agree, this looks like magic! The anticipation I felt as a child waiting for Christmas, and finally the awaited day!
Ooooh, ahhhh!
Think "Christmas Cards", Lynette! This is fabulous in every way!

Just a thought, why not make a CD and take it to your local photo shop and get prints made?
