Trees of Surreality ~ I finished this one today and it's acrylics on 140 lb. watercolor paper and 11 x 15 inches. Brrrr it is getting cold outside and it's going to go down in the 20's tonight! I can hear the wind from the cold front hitting the windows outside. It's a good night to stay inside and drink hot chocolate or something!

Hi Lynette!

I'm a little late in saying this, but I wanted to say thanks for critiquing my blog, and for leaving me such nice comments! :) Soo.. Thanks!!

I really like the paintings on your blog also, the brushstrokes make them feel whimsical and free. :) Very nice!

Stay warm, Lyn! I just talked to my mom in PA, and she said the same thing...chilly.

this is a wonderful painting, your work always has an air of mystery and fantasy!

Thanks Cyn! Yes it is cold tonight and the worst thing happened, our electricity went out over an hour ago but thank goodness my husband had recently bought a generator. We have candles and kerosene lanterns going, and the TV and computer thanks to the generator!! Just waiting for the electric trucks to come out here again and fix it as the electricity has gone out 3 times in the last month, grrr! May have to bring in the kerosene heater too if they don't get their butts out here soon. :(
