PAINTINGS THIS WEEKEND ~I did three little ones last night and listed them in E-bay today. They are in acrylics on Canson canva-paper (I love that stuff!) and ACEO size which is 2/1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. Their titles are Dancing to Spring, Purple Sparkle Wave, and Edge of the World.
There is something very magical about your paintings, Lynette! Maybe it's the sparkling shimmering paint dots. I noticed that you're selling all your work, way to go!
Aww thank you Cyn! I am so surprised and happy but I'm saving good high dpi files of them so I can do some prints of them. I've been reading in WC that the little Epson Stylus photo R260 is very affordable (under $100) and perfect for printing ACEOs with archival inks. I think I'm going to buy one this week to make some prints of all of them!
Thank you fenny! I don't have to work tonight so I will probably paint some tonight. I have one tree in progress and maybe I can finish it tonight. Thanks!
Hi J.B. wow thanks so much for the kind comments and TGIF!! Time to get out my paints! I'm thinking of trying some a little larger and on stretched canvas and I have to finish the one I have hanging on my wall half finished.
Hi and thank you M.O.I...I guess I have an active (LOL weird) imagination to paint things like this and I sure enjoy doing it! Did you have a Friday poetry post in your blog this week, I love reading your poetry you are so very talented...going to go looksee right now!!
Hello and thanks for visiting! I've been painting and drawing for many years. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and I've always enjoyed creating art! I'm fascinated with trees, growing up in Kentucky and living in Virginia for over 20 years! I love the outdoors and enjoy painting it!

I like the bottom photo. That is great you are selling so well, but I am not surprised really. Good idea to make some prints :)

wonderful wonderful! I love all three! You have a wonderful imagination!
Thanks for the nice words Terri!
These are so fanciful! I love the trees blowing over on a tilt. The curling wave is especially neat!
