'White Rocking Chair and a Rainbow' ~ One of the projects I finally tackled was putting on the 3rd coat of white paint to my 'outside' rocking chair. Wow, that sucker almost glows now! :D I've been lugging the heavy thing inside every time that rain was expected. Well, I love sitting out there in the evening and I'm hoping those 3 coats of paint will protect it. I'm still going to have to lug it back inside for the winter though. It's been cloudy and misting rain most of the day but right before dusk this evening, the sun was trying to appear out in the west which produced this beauty of a rainbow!

Wow, awesome rainbow!
Nothing quite like sittin in the rocker, contemplating the world.
(or reading a good book)

Thanks Babs, and I sure agree with that. Every time I see a rainbow outside I go run for my camera. The flash from my camera sure made that chair glow LOL. It's been out in the rain so I'm sure hoping those 3 coats of paint are gonna do the trick or I may have to bring it inside again hehe!

This whole scene looks like a painting in itself! How special to have this favourite chair!

Thanks M.O.I.! I bet this would be a tricky one to paint with all the lines and angles but I might give it a try to see what I come up with.

Wow, Lynette -- I thought this WAS a panting. I thought, "Now, this is very different!"

I love that stark, glowing white against the receding pattern of the rail with the shadowy landscape under that rainbow.

Just gorgeous. Print it up and offer it for sale!
