Dreamcatcher ~ This is 11 x 14 inches on a stretched canvas. I got up my nerve to try another abstract on a large canvas and before I knew it, I had a 'mud' painting, arrgh! While it was all still wet, I grabbed a pointy toothpick and pallette knife and started scratching, swirling and scraping the paint and finally ended up with this one after applying some of the crimson acrylics. I think I may keep it hanging on the bedroom wall to 'catch' bad dreams hehe!

Hey Lynnette! Now that is really making lemonade from lemons! I think it is quite wonderful. I love the swirling, again. And the layering of the colors is cool, too. I do think grabbing those canvases is a very cool thing for you to be doing! The next one.....?????

Babs! Janet that is a cool description. I didn't know what in the heck that one looked like. For a while there I was thinking it looked like a fish filet LOL! Then I thought it reminded me of some kind of weird feather.

That's a neat spin on the traditional dreamcatchers you hang up! I love all your recent pictures but especially the heart in the tree! No doubt you are probably doing a variation on this theme for Valentine's Day!!!??
At first I thought this was a photograph of ice crystals on some plant. I love how you did this and especially how you came to make it.
