Turquoise Sun ~ Things have been going really slow lately but I did finally finish this one today. It's 9 x 12 inches, acrylics on 140 lb watercolor paper. The weather has gotten so hot the last couple of days here and it's going to be hitting the century mark the next couple of days. Hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk, as that old saying goes!

Oh!
I always say: "OH" when I come and look at your pictures! They are awaking me and soothing me at the same time:)
love
Andrea
OH! I'm saying oh too!
Love that you made the sun turquoise,,,don't expect the boring normal from Lynnie!
Great, enlarging,,,,,and seeing all the makings of this work!
Another hit Lynnie!
Lynette!
It is so lovely to see you doing a tree again. I always think that is your arena! This one is quite beautiful, too. I love it...and the turquoise sun...a little cooler than an orange one! :)
The heat is on, so they say, and I can see the results of it in this work. Believe it or not, but my husband is on the roof getting the debris off (and it is mid-day)! The heat and humidity is unbearable for me. He has been in northern Canada for the last two weeks, so this is a big change for him, too.
I really love this new painting...the tree is so whimsical!
Thanks Lynette!
Wow!! Beautiful
Hi Andrea, wow thank you so much for the nice comment on this!
Hehe aww thank you Babs and I'm still trying to decide if it's a sun or moon. I may just call it Turquoise Moon. :p
Thanks so much Kim and oh your poor husband working on the roof in this awful heat. It's been sweltering here the last few days. I hope he was taking lots of breaks and drinking cold water.
Awww Genie, thanks so very much for the nice words!
You splattered, didnt you? I like the randomness.
Thanks Janet and LOL yep I did splatter. I probably got more on the curtains too!
