"Fall Night" ~ Here's an update on my tree and moon painting which I finished tonight. The second one is an abstract I painted titled "Stopping Time". Both of these are acrylics on stretched canvas.

I didn't think you could improve on your tree painting, but you certainly did! It's more atmospheric now...I also like your abstract painting.

I would have to say the same thing as Cynthia. I didnt think the tree needed improvement, but I like what you did.

The abstract looked like it was fun to paint.

Thanks so much Jan, yep it was fun to paint! I painted over one that I never could get to look right so I guess I just recycled that canvas.

Market it as altered canvas. :-) Seems to be a "hot" term.

Ha thank you Jan I never thought of that! :)

Both are really cool and the names fit perfectly!

Hi, Lynette!

I love both of these! I can imagine gazing out my window to see that beautiful tree with the moon behind it.

I've gotta run an errand, but will be back later to catch up on all the great stuff I've missed here.

Can't wait!

Helloo Terri and W.J. Thanks to both of you so much! I've been struggling with one I'm painting in acrylics lately and I'm kind of stuck on it right now.
