WIP the Tree and Moon ~ I just started painting this one last weekend and I have to 'make' the tree grow a little more before it's finished. I am still studying/looking at this and have several layers to go before it's finished. I am looking forward to the magical colorful season that is fall! This is acrylics on stretched canvas and it's 8 x 10 inches.

This is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!! I can't see that it needs much more done to it?
M-o-o-n ! That spells moon!
Thank so much J.B. and Terri! I'll probably add some more thin branches and get up my nerve to add a thin glaze with color to put some 'atmosphere' in there.
This is lovely. I like the colour of the sky and the atmosphere it created.
Wonderful! You handled the tree great...I also say done! But, I look forward to seeing your additions.
Thanks Cyn and I'm glad you're back from your trip..your photos are AWESOME in your blog!! I am going to work more on this one tomorrow but I won't do much else to the tree, just maybe some atmosphere in the background/sky area.
Thanks fennymum! I'm going to do some more work on it tonight. I just see more of a haze when I'm looking in the distance in real life and I hope I can get some of that in this painting.
Great tree. I always find them difficult to do.
I like the rock you found in the post below.
Thank you Jan! I've been neglecting my blog this week. I tried to upload some new photos but it wouldn't go through. I still haven't finished my tree painting. I had to work extra hours this week and haven't had a chance to finish it. I'm glad you like my rock too, thank you. :D
