Misty Blue Morn ~ This painting is 9 x 12 inches, acrylics on Canson 140 lb. watercolor paper. I don't know why I painted a 'fall tree' near the end of winter but it just sort of flowed out that way! I hope youall got to enjoy the beauty of the full eclipse of the moon tonight...I did in between the clouds and it was glorious looking!!

Fabulous Lynette! Both the painting and eclipse! :) I really like this one a lot and am glad to see you working a bit larger. I have always thought your trees deserved a larger canvas...don't ask me why, because I have no idea.

You just keep letting these flow out of you...they are wonderful.

Oh, this one is fun!
Beautifully colored, super landscape with those periwinkle wildflowers,,,,and I love her roots, the craggy ledge she's growing from,,,,,but most of all because she reminds me of a TEAPOT! See her handle?
Or is hers an indignant stance with her hand on her hip?
Tons to contemplate in this one Lynnie,,,love it!

Aww thanks so much Kim and I really enjoyed painting this one and I'm going to do more this size. It takes me just as long to paint them the little size!
Babs, hehe thanks so much and LOL I see what you mean about that part looking like a teapot or a lady with her hand on her hip...I'm trying to make her come alive LOL!
Janet, I'm sorry you didn't get to see the eclipse, I could only see it when the clouds moved past but it was soo purty when I could see it!

Hi Lynette! Thanks so much for your comment on my blog, I loved it!
Your painting is beautiful! For me, it is sizzling with energy and movement, one can feel that there is a transformation going on in the tree and in the earth and the air around it.
