New ACEOs ~ I just finished these four ACEOs and they're acrylics on 140 lb. watercolor paper. The titles for the top 2 are 'Rainbow Dancer' and 'Washday'. I used a new technique for these two. I watered down the acrylics to use like watercolors and let the pools of color spread out and dry. Then I looked at the shapes and used my imagination to 'see' the pictures that were formed in the dried paint. The bottom two and top one are more fantasy trees but I haven't thought of a title for them yet.

I like the process you used, and love the titles.

Lynnette!

Fabulous. I like it you brought the trees back, but I also love the new ones a lot. Of course, you knew I would :) The colors and textures are fantastic! I hope you do more.

I will be watching, Lynnette!

Thanks!

Interesting that you would come up with a laundry painting in the third one.

Great new trees Lynnie,,,as always!
OH! How I love the watercolor effects in these other two! The 'laundry' one reminds me of a bird on a wire. (old Leonard Cohen song)
Really nice work Lynn!

Thanks so much Corrine!
Kim thanks so much, I'm going to try some larger ones this weekend, I've been doing so many of the little ones lately.
Hey Janet, thanks and that was really weird but when the wet paint dried, the shape sort of reminded me of an old-fashioned Grandma, especially the dress. I was just letting pools of wet paint dry and then see what shapes they created.
Thank so much Babs and it's good to see ya back! 'Bird on a Wire', cool!!
Flo, wow, thanks so much for the nice words, they're much appreciated!!

I thought for sure the 2nd and 3rd paintings were water colors - they look fabulous!

As much as I like your wintery tree rendition - I'm ready for some spring.
