The Babs and Lynnie Collaboration ~ Here are some photos! My friend Babs, from Off the Wall Art who is a very talented artist had the neatest idea! She mailed me two of her WIPs a while back and I got to finish them up. I was scared of 'messing' them up but today I just got up my nerve and started painting on them. I really like how they turned out! I feel that Bab's wonderful abstract style shines in the the one on the right (my fave) and she likes the one on the left so the tree is going in the mail to her along with two new WIPs started by me! I used acrylics and touches of the pearl iridescent and interference gold. Thanks Babs!!

Hey! These are great! You guys are amazing...and very brave! I love both of these and can see both of you shine through both of them. Of course the tree says "Lynette" very loud and clear! And the abstract with the orange is so very "Babs"!

How smart and talented you two are to do this collaborative work!

Thanks for sharing!

Two great talents combined. That's what I call a recipe for beauty!

They are both wonderful, Lynette. And such a collaboration can only occur in a friendship that is a work of art.

Neat idea of co-op art! I like the orangey colour especially because it's now fall!

Thanks for the nice words Cyn!

Aww thanks so much Genie and I got my letter off to you today so watch your mailbox! :)

Aww thank you San, it really was a special thing to do this with Babs!

Hi Moi, I was thinking of fall when I put the orange in that one. I left Babs original lovely linework though.

Hi Andrea, thanks so much, yep it was a little scary to begin on them and I had to think about what to do to keep from messing them up!

Aww thank you fennymun! I knew I wanted the one that reminded me of Babs artworks!

Just goes to show you that faux finishing sample boards can be works of art -- no matter what the size. The one on the right looks like a really nice marble.
