Trees for Each Season ~ Whew, I finally got all eight of these tree paintings finished, and two for each season! I painted these (all 4 x 6 inches) in acrylics on 140 lb. watercolor paper and I bought the ivory mats to go with each one to fit in 5 x 7 inch frames. I think I'm going to try listing one set in Etsy and one in Ebay just to see what happens...or I may keep one of the sets to hang in the living room over the treadmill where I've been trying to get a little daily exercise. I noticed I feel better and have more energy when I can get motivated to walk on the thing...it's just hard to get motivated though!

I hear you...I hate machines, so I go for a walk outside, but of course in the winter California's weather is much softer:)
Love the paintings in the frames!
Hmm, Ive also thought of Etsy shop, but am still gearing up for it -
Love the red tree! Excellent series, Lynette...
And they look great Lynnie! I especially like how you've allowed some splotches/runs in the fall trees.
It's always so interesting to me to see how a frame just kinda 'polishes up' a finished work.
Wishing you well with these on Etsy!
I adore these little paintings. I hope you do well in either place you put them.
Oh, don't even talk to me about exercize. I have all the good intentions, but they seem to fall off eventually. Hard to stick with it.
they are all very lovely images.
:-)
Hi Jeannette, thanks so much and that would be great if you open up an Etsy shop!
Cyn, hey busy lady, thank you for the kind words, they're much appreciated!
Thanks Babs, and LOL i'll confess and tell you that is just one frame I used for all the paintings! :p
Aww thanks Katie and yikes, I hate exercise too, that's why I can't get motivated. :(
Hi Nina, thanks so much, I appreciate the nice words!
Hi Lynette, lovely sets of paintings. Wish you'll have good responses from the sites! :p
I have been walking on the treadmill 30 mins a day and it is helping with the energy (and hopefully with the flab).
The series looks wonderful.
Thanks so much Fenny and Corinne! arrh, I haven't gotten on that darn treadmill in days, maybe tomorrow. :p
