'Birdcage' ...(photo on right showing the sparkly)

'Whirlpool'
'Pinwheel'
~ I had a huge sheet of semi-transparent yupo paper and I've recently been trying acrylics, black ink and sparkly crystal glitter dust for texture. I really like the effects in these ACEO size ones!

Puddin' must be one of those 'lol' cats I've been hearing about because I sure had to laugh at her playing 'hide and seek' under the bed last night! :)

I love your pinwheel! But then I love all circular type designs. Seems you're having really fun with going in this direction:)

Your work on the yupo is fascinating Lynnie! I especially like the birdcage.
Your page looks great! I haven't started mine yet,,but I received my first book, (Lynn's) and I finished my page for it. I hope I did it right too!
Puddin is a caution, huh?

Hi Genie, thanks so much and I hope you have a great weekend too!
Thanks Jeannette, I have been having fun with the yupo paper. I had bought that paper to make Christmas ornaments but it didn't work out, so I'm painting on it.
Heey Babs, thanks so much and that Puddin' is a mess, she's so funny sometimes! She thought her whole body was hidden hehe, but it was only her big old head. :p I hope I'm doing the book right too, it's a new thing for me.
Hii Katie, thanks so very much and I hope you're having a great weekend!

Hey Lynette - heads up! I've mailed my sketchbook page to you today. You should get it by Monday. the kitty pictures are great - particularly the obscured face. Yupo - I have two pieces a friend gave me. I may have to dig it out and give it a go!

Thanks Janet, I had bought that sheet of yupo to make Christmas ornaments but it was too heavy to fold. I found another use for that huge sheet. It's really fun and different to paint on!

Hi Cathie, I just went to your blog and saw your first page of the traveling sketchbook and it's soo gorgeous! I'm excited to recieve it in the mail so I can add to it and mail it on to Karen. Thanks to Kate for starting this project cause I think it's going to be lots of fun!
