Very Funny, Lynette! That old banana was really bad...a really bad boy! :)
Now I see the inspiration for all of your lovely tree paintings! Fruit trees have such lovely blooms, don't they? We have a lot of wild cherry up this way...this year they are quite beautiful! Now we have had this really cold weather again, so I worry about how they will fare!
Everything is in full bloom here too. Was down near Baltimore last week and I dont know what trees they were, but they all had white flowers. There were tons of them. Looked almost like Christmas.
Thanks so much Kim! We are still having cool nights here and it got in the 30's last night. I hope your wild cherry trees fared OK through the cold snap. I couldn't resist sharing that funny banana man jumping around and scaring people in the mall! :) Aww Janet I bet they were gorgeous! Cyn, I bet spring will be in full bloom out there soon I hope! I remember the spring/summer season is shorter and more comfortable out there than here in the southeast.
Love your old apple trees Lynnie. These are great photos! We are really blooming out everything here now,,,the tulips, jonquils & daffodils are showing off beautifully right now. The wind is getting some of those fragile tulips, but where they've been planted in a protected area, they're awesome!
I LOVE apple trees and blossoms! They're out already??!!! We are just getting leaf buds on the trees but we're getting some pretty warm (12-19 C) sunny days finally and all the snow is gone!
Lynnette may be too shy to mention it, but she was selected to be interviewed by Kim at Kim-Creating Space. Check it out. http://kim-creatingspace.blogspot.com
:D Wasn't that banana man hilarious Babs, even made one poor kid fall down! I'd be running too if I saw some jiggly banana making noises and jumping around like that. It sounds like you have all kinds of blooming beauty! MOI I'm glad your snow is finally gone and I know you get lots of it up that far north. I bet you'll have blooms and sunshine all over the place now! Thank you Terri, yep that old tree has definitely inspired some of my tree paintings, lots of them come to think of it. Thanks so much! Ha Babs, I was nervous about the interview but Kim is awesome and made it so easy!
Hello and thanks for visiting! I've been painting and drawing for many years. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and I've always enjoyed creating art! I'm fascinated with trees, growing up in Kentucky and living in Virginia for over 20 years! I love the outdoors and enjoy painting it!

Your weather is ahead of Denver's Lynette. My crab apple tree is just now getting the first inkling of buds. Ahhh spring...
