Two New ACEOs ~ 'Stop the Snakes' (above) and 'Fairy Skirt' (bottom 2 photos showing the effect of the pearl iridescent paint) I painted both of these in acrylics on 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 140 lb. watercolor paper. These 2 are available in Ebay.
It has done nothing but rain here in Virginia the last couple days and we may have to build an ark if it keeps up much longer! I'm really thankful though that our house isn't that close to the lake although there are flash flood warnings in the area. I hope everyone had a great weekend! Soggy here!

The bottom two kind of look like fairies on a bicycle. There is not real reason why, just that they do.

Stay dry.

I just love these two, Lynnette! So much fun and so much whimsy! Well, to be honest, so much Lynette! That makes them all the more special.

Rain...lots of rain. I wasn't here, but 6 tornados touched down around the beltway here last night. Lots of rain today all the way back home today, too!

Thanks Lynette!

PS, I meant to say...I have a HUGE snake phobia...I am sure the painting is fantastic, but I really do want to sleep tonight! :)

All I can say is WOW - Lynette - these might be my favorites of yours.

I love what you're doing with those sweeping arcs in both. Great movement! And they both strike me as highly original.

We always need rain here in the desert, but I too love the sunshine. Last week we had a bit more snow and I am hoping that winter has finally packed it bags and is heading out the door.

Just sticking my head back in to snag your address for my blogroll.

Hehe, Janet now that you mention it I can see the handlebars of the bicycles. Yea, we have one day with sunshine and no rain today but it'll probably be raining tomorrow.
Yikes Kim tornadoes are so darn scary, much worse than rain. Thanks Kim! Ha, Kim I don't like snakes either and I'm even worse about spiders! Sometimes I think I paint scary things as a kind of therapy.
Aww thanks so much Cyn!
Thanks San! I need to update my blog links and will get your link and others in my blog this week. I hope that you have lots of lovely sunshine and spring weather out your way now!

I love the fanciful fairies! The snakes are neat but I don't like snakes so maybe this one raises the flight response!
