HAPPY FALL ~ You've been mooned! I wish I knew who to credit this funny photo to, but it was sent in an e-mail that's been forwarded to lots and lots of people and no name or credit of the photographer. Hehe, my sister Betsy got me with this, so I'm passing it on to you!

Delicate gorgeous plant ~ Babs, I got so excited to see this beautiful little flower on my Jack in the Beanstalk plant from the oreo seeds! Next year, I am going to plant some in a planter also. Today, I saw that one of the flowers is growing into a bean! Such pretty colors!!

Drops of Golden Sun ~ I just painted this one last night and finished it today. It's acrylics on a 6 x 6 inch stretched canvas and I used my tube of gold interference paint in this one. Sometimes I will put off painting or creating for days or weeks and it feels like I am going to 'burst open' if I don't get in there and paint something. I had one of those crazy jolts of creative energy last night and painted this one in less than 10 minutes. I did work on it some more today and signed it. The words 'Drops of golden sun' are remembered from when I was in chorus in the 6th grade. We put on a show for the parents and we sang songs from the old Mary Poppins movie for the program. We sang the same songs over and over and over in rehearsal. To this day I still get the song, 'Doe Ray Mi' stuck in my mind sometimes and that's where the words 'drops of golden sun' came from which I thought would make a good title for my painting. :)

Lynette, what a fun painting! I love the joy of it so much! Yes, I think that is the best way to describe it...just pure joy bursting forth from your canvas!

And the blossom from your oreo bean plant. I see a couple of pods on my plant, but one fell off and seems to be lost. I am guessing they are to dry on the plant. Do you know?

What a funny photo of the mooning scarecrow!

Thanks Lynette!

The new painting looks so right for now. Fall is here!

Kind of wonder if there isnt a gourd on the other side of that scarecrow! eeek! :-)

Lynette, I'd rather be sunned than mooned, at least if the sun in question is YOUR sun. That was 10 inspired minutes, woman.

And that flower is exquisite. Life is good, isn't it?

Heey Kim, thanks so much and I did really enjoy painting that one. Sometimes I just have to paint something fast and furious hehe. I looked today and I have 3 little bean pods growing on the top of my plant. I'm not sure how big they are supposed to get though. I know the seeds were pretty large that Babs sent. I don't know if they fall off or if you just pick them when they're big.
OMG Janet that made me spit my coffee, LOL too bad there isn't a photo of the front of that scarecrow, although I can sure picture that!
Aww thank you San, yep life is very good at times!
Hi Fennymun, happy fall to you, I couldn't resist posting that funny picture!

Hey Lynnie,,LOVE the drops of golden sun,,,such dimension you get in the twining of that ribbon,,,amazing!

RE: the seed pods
Yes, you let them dry on the vine. You will know by looking when the seeds inside have dried & you can pop out the little oreos.
:-)
Mine has not done as well this year as last,,,only getting a few seed pods,,,but hopefully will be enough to start out again next spring.

The pumpkin photo is a riot! I wonder if you could copy that and do it on your lawn? It would certainly get attention!

Your painting reminds me of a cup of coffee!

WE got frost last night!! But it's supposed to be nice for our Thanksgiving which is this weekend!

Hi Genie, thanks so much, yep that scarecrow is too funny!
Thanks Cyn, I'm wondering if my sister's friend made that scarecrow in Kentucky? I haven't even got any decorations out yet.
Heyy Babs, thanks so much and I hope you get enough seeds from your plant this year. I got another pic and I can't believe how fast those beans grow on them!
MOI, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with lots of great food. We still have a few weeks before we get ours and I'm looking forward to it.
