More Rainbows and a Phoenix ~ Here are some rainbow photos I took in the stormy weather from last week and a painting that I can't seem to finish this week but I worked on it some more tonight. I keep seeing the Phoenix rising from the ashes in this abstract painting and It's 6 x 6 inches, acrylics on a stretched canvas.

I just had a thought, Lynette - your paintings are very magical and are somehow related to your photography - or maybe the way your lens captures an image. I saw this right away with the raindrops on the window.
Woah, wonder what that means? The phoenix is beautiful, nontheless. I'm anxious to see the finished piece. (I see my little Rainbow Stick peeking into the picture!)
The real rainbow is gorgeous.
Thanks so much for the nice words Cyn and I am heading over to your blog to see what you have been up too lately! I'm way behind on catching up with my blog visits.
Katie I couldn't resist taking a picture through the window with your wonderful rainbow stick and a real rainbow up in the sky, it was a cool photo opportunity!
Super photo op!
(Kate's rainbow looks great)
Love this gorgeous painting! I am loving that wonderfully painted, magical BIRD,,,,so beautiful what comes out of your mind, Lynnie!
I see your Phoenix, Lynette. A fiery and beautiful one at that. Such a spirit!
Your photographs are always a pleasure to see too.
Aww, thanks so very much for the nice words Babs and San!
Where are you living, woman -- in heaven?
These skies are just terrific! I need to get out more!
